Ice Oasis great ice resurfaceing.
This is the rink where I skate hockey. It's located in Redwood City in a converted warehouse. I really have a great time skating there. Everyone had the same question when they returned from winter/Christmas break. "What did you do for christmas?" Well I had a bit of fun with ice!
The Ice oasis had a resurfacing party. After the Zmaboni scrapped the ice all the way down to the last layer of paint the new paint could be applied and new ice placed on top. With generous assistance/supervision from the NHLs San Jose Sharks ice maintainers we were able to paint the lines. The whole process wasn't completed as of yesterday (three days after the start) but we sure did learn a lot!
